While streaming/linked media is essential for many products, handling it with Lingo can be quite complex. You have to make many checks that the media is available and ready on different levels, and take appropriate actions. This often results in a number of specially designed if-then or case statements. Further, debugging stream errors is not for the faint hearted.

The Pin Media Controller does all media state checking and takes appropriate actions automatically. You just issue one command, like
